Septarian Geode (23-SG-01)

Septarian Geode is a hollow, spherical cavity in a rock that is lined with crystals and other minerals. They are a specific geological formation, that occur when minerals (primarily calcite and aragonite) fill in cracks in a concretion. This creates a very unique patterning and often leaves hollow spaces inside, forming the geode. These Septarian dragon egg geodes are from Madagascar and were formed during the Jurassic period, around 160 million years ago.

Septarian geodes are said to have metaphysical abilities. They are said to be healing and protective stones that bring calming energies that can lead to feelings of joy, spiritual uplift, and understanding.
